The cottage we stayed at was a delightful retreat, offering a peaceful and quiet location with all the necessary amenities provided by the owner. the convenience of having both a washing machine and ironing facilities allowed us to keep up with our laundry while on our travels. the fully equipped kitchen with cookware and utensils made it easy for us to prepare our own meals, saving us money on dining out. the free Wi-Fi and parking were also appreciated perks. Although the cottage was cozy and comfortable, it did lack some luxury touches that we typically enjoy when traveling. However, the value proposition of the accommodation was well worth the cost, especially considering its proximity to popular destinations such as York, Whitby, and Scarborough. Overall, our stay was enjoyable and we are grateful to Jackie and her husband for hosting us in their lovely cottage.
